Just Keep Sewing

I know, it's just a pillow case, but this time I actually bought the fabric for this specific project! Minor improvements in my quest to learn to sew. 

Branching Out

In May of last year my flatmates and I found a branch that had been brushed ashore in Saint-Jean-de-Luz. My first thought was, "You look like you could be an interesting light fixture. You really ought to come home with us." 

While I'm great at starting at projects, I'm not necessarily known for finishing them. With that being said, eight months (two hours of which were spent sanding) later, my laundry baskets have a new friend with whom to keep their corner cozy.

Baby Steps in the Land of Scarf

For as long as I've been knitting, I've never actually tried to follow a pattern. 

Here's to 2016, a year of change, and to my UTI for forcing me to stay home and be productive.
